A rare sight to clearly see the Matariki star cluster from Taranaki thanks to a partial eclipse and blood moon over Taranaki, Aotearoa – New Zealand. Captured from a rural volcanic laha in rural Warea near Parihaka within the Taranaki Iwi rohe (area/boundary). I understand that this longest near-total lunar eclipse in 800 years.
