Tania Niwa is a multi-award winning photographic artist who has attained the highest accreditation in her profession as a Grand Master of Photography with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography. Tania’s friendly, professional approach, her unsurpassed technical ability and impeccable eye for detail means that her clients receive fantastic photographic images every time. Tania specialises in family, commercial, architectural, fine art photography and athlete social media management. She draws on her experience of 25 years to help clients achieve their goals above and beyond expectations.

Growing up on Sydney’s beautiful northern beaches, Yaisha has always been a creative individual. After high school, she studied for three years at the National Art School, East Sydney and followed that up with three years of study at Enmore Design Centre finishing with distinctions and two Advanced Diplomas in Fine Art and Graphic Design. This enables Yaisha to bring quite a wide range of creative skills to the studio. Yaisha is the production manager at Tania’s studio, her role is to run the studio’s production workflow including editing, retouching and printing of all our client’s photographs. She also works hard to keep the brand of Tania Niwa Photographer fresh and up-to-date using her design talents. Her drive for excellence is an integral part of her philosophy in image production, so by the time you see your final printed images, you can be sure that she has worked my magic on them to have you looking your absolute best in the most natural way!

Joy is an energetic, warm and friendly character, who literally as her name suggests, brings joy to our studio and all the families she works with.  She is a not only a talented photographer but a skilled entertainer on family portrait sessions.  Joy first joined our studio nine years ago, after running a commercial studio in Crows Nest. She has developed into an exceptionally vital creative team member who also helps with marketing.  Joy is a skilled digital artist, has also worked for Pacific Magazines as a photo assistant.  She also works as a  freelance photographer for other esteemed photography studios in Brisbane and Sydney.  Joy is an avid fan of The Manly Sea Eagles and like Tania, loooooves chocolate.

Jesse is an aspiring freelance filmmaker & photographer driven by his love for creativity, working in teams and enabling those around him to reach their fullest potential.  Jesse’s initial experience in production came from his studies in journalism (where he first picked up a camera).  His skill was developed working for a Sydney production house before making the shift to freelance work in 2013. When not at our studio, Jesse works across big and small productions related to corporates, events, drama, advertising and sport.   His versatility allows him to cover a number of roles – from director of photography, right through to lighting and camera assistant. In addition to his varied production skills Jesse brings a wealth of experience working with children.  He has managed a world class tutoring centre, helped disadvantaged children in Nepal and also works with Beauty Point Public Schools not for profit OOSH program.
